Our Clergy

What to Expect
We worship in the Eastern Christian tradition and use a simpler, more primitive version of The Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom as aligned with the Byzantine Catholic Calendar on the Gregorian date of Easter. We also use a lectionary that is closely related to the revised common lectionary to bring us into union with the majority of Christendom.
We are a 'Bells & Smells' Church that uses incense every Sunday. We venerate Icons (Holy Images) and Light candles for prayer. We chant most of our Liturgy and receive communion of both kinds on the tongue. For our communion we use bread which may or may not be leavened and wine. We generally do not genuflect and instead bow as is the tradition in the East.
We invite all to join and participate as they feel comfortable and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask Fr. Jake!
We are an Open and Affirming Congregation and welcome all people in the full life of the Church regardless of Gender, Martial Status, or Orientation! All are truly welcome just as they are in our Parish!
